I have gotten so much support via this blog and I am sincerely humbled by it. Not surprised because you guys are honestly amazing and we could not be luckier but humbled. But now I need to ask for your support in a different way! Sam’s school (NCBA) is taking all the boys on a mission trip! This is a huge opportunity for them in a couple ways…
1. They get a short break from year round school (they leave in two days, for 12 days).
2. They are getting a behind the scene tour of the FBI headquarters. They are visiting the monuments and museums in Washington, DC.
3. They are visiting the Teen Challenge in New York, where they will be serving in some capacity.
4. Many of these kids have not been to any of the states they are going to and this is an opportunity for them to see how more of this country works.
5. They are staying at Churches along the way that are opening their doors and hearts to these boys.
6. Secretly they are learning and they have no idea!
Sam is about to move up a level in the program which is a HUGE deal for him. They are offering him opportunities to prove himself by encouraging a talent he has been working on for a while now! He is the official photographer for the trip. This also gave me a chance to give him some extra trust and encouragement by lending him my work DSLR camera. With this they are allowing him and another student to add to the Facebook page. So if you would like to follow along and see some of Sam’s work you can like their page here…

Also as you can imagine taking 12 students and 24 hour a day staff on a trip of this caliber is not a small deal. It is a huge undertaking. They are prayerfully asking for small donations to help with this trip. I feel that I cannot properly impress upon you guys how much this means to these kids, but I hope that I am doing them some justice by just simply asking for your help. This program is changing lives and I am not sure I will ever fully understand it but I know that what they are doing is absolutely amazing.
