My name is Carolyn Elizabether Gardner…most people do not know that my real name is not Carly! I just turned 23…ahh hem..I mean 32! I grew up in Winston-Salem, went to NC State and then moved to Charlotte in 2003. I LOVE Charlotte and it has been a pleasure to see the city grow and form to its current state. I know that we are just getting started!
Quite a few people have observed that I have a comforting factor and that I make them feel comfortable in situations. If I could choose a super power that would be it. - I played soccer for 13+ years.
- 2 I have been a Pescatarian (vegetarian that eats seafood) for 1 year now.
- I have no tattoos, and only the traditional ear piercings.
- I will run my 3rd half marathon in April.
- I used to be a shop-a-holic but now I dread going to the mall.
- I only cut my hair once a year, if that!
- I have been to 4 out of the 7 continents, and 21 countries and 22 US States.
- I can snow ski and slalom water ski.
- I created my first company and first networking group in the last 10 months of the year.
- My mom recently gave me my baby teeth that she saved…it grossed me out, but I saved them.
- I raised over $14,000 in 2 years for breast cancer research.
- Two of my teeth are not real.
- I see colors exceptionally well. Better than the average person.
- I kill every plant I try to grow. I was recently able to keep bamboo alive for 3 years but it is now dying. The life cycle on bamboo is 5-8 years.
- I have worked in the clothing industry in someway or another since I was 16.
