Day 2: Meaning behind your blog name
Ok so my blog is named after my company Leap of Faith Clothing!! But there is a good story behind the company name and also a double play on what was going on in my life! Oh jump for joy!
I always wanted to take a chance and start my own company. When the idea formed and the time came to take the chance..I started the process by brainstorming company names. Raven tees, Gardner clothing, Cape Crusaders, and on and on it went! My Mom, MAP as we affectionately call her, sent me the name of a song she thought I should listen to. Appropriately titled, The Cape, Eric Bibb captured what I was feeling, as well as the whole idea behind my clothing line! In this song he says…

Is just a leap of faith

I knew I was taking a huge chance but I also knew I need to trust my cape!

Needless to say the name causes some confusion as people tend to think that I am a solely Christian company! I am a strong Christian, and religion does play a huge part in my life and decision making. I am happy with my decision about LOF. I knew after I heard this, that this was the name for me! Until tomorrow….
