Pod 2: Shreyas Doshi (Challenge Day 2)

Another amazing podcast full of amazing advice! Shame on me for totally forgetting about the strategy of a pre-mortem. It quickly reminded me of the Amazon Backwards Press release that I have used before. Both valid — one to discover how might we fail — the other to march towards — how might we succeed. As an ultimate optimist I used the press release option but since I am reflecting things may have gone better if we had done a pre-mortem.

Another take-away from Shreyas’s point of view that resonated with me was change of place = change of pace. I often feel like I cannot really hide a createive stride if I am always in my home office. Sometimes the pace and production of my work is improved when I work from a co-working space or even a coffee shop. You better believe my headphones are in but the change in energy greatly affects me. Loved this piece of advice as simple as it is!
