Day 14: A picture of you last year – how have you changed?

Wow!  A bit behind so..catching up from this weekend!  This pic was taken of me exactly one year ago, as I am headed to Charleston this weekend for the annual Cooper River Brdige Run.  Last year we were there to celebrate my friend Sarah’s bachlorette party.  This pic is kind of funny because we were sitting at a table of 25 or so and I had to use the little girls room and couldn’t get out so I went under the table!  A girls got to do what a girls got to do!  How have a changed??  Hmm…my hair is darker…I have lost a bit of weight…and I not as tan.  I still wear a ridiculous amount of jewelry…thanks Stella and Dot! All in all not that much has changed!

Day 15: Bible verse

Hebrews 11:1 NIV Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

For this part I had to chose a verse about faith! One of the most common questions I get about choosing Leap of Faith as the name of my company is if there is a religious connection.  While officially there is not a connection…I am a Christian.  I know deep down that I would have never had the courage to change my life in such a way if I didn’t know that I had God looking after me.  This verse speaks to me because it is hard to be certain of what we do not see.  I can picture how I want things to be a year from now…but I am not certain that I will be there..or I may surprise myself and be even further!  The one thing that is for sure is that I am trusting that God is leading me the direction I am meant to go.  I am trying to lead my life by being sure of what I hoped for and certain that I will get what I am longing for!
