For the last couple of years I have been pushing my “jogging” to a new level. I have been steadily increasing my goals to run more miles. The first year I really tracked my mileage I ran around 600 miles. I thought…why not 200 more! I had big eyes! So the next year I ran 667 miles. Fell short but I thought again…why not 800 miles. So I am so excited to say that this year I have achieved my goal of 800 miles.
I have to give a special shout out to my good friend Julie Hart who has amazed me this year. She jumped on board with this challenge not having run any significant amount of miles last year! This girl not only rocked it…she pushed me and held me accountable when I needed it most! Without her push…I would not be celebrating this!
I do not want to bore you with all the route info, the blisters, the close calls with cars, the number of dogs returned to their yards, the running in the rain stories, or lost toenails! Instead I thought I would send you my favorite running songs from 2014.
So without further ado…in no particular order…
1. Half Acre- Hem
2. I will be there- Odessa
3. Hey Mami- Sylvan Esso

4. Young Blood -Birdy version

5. Dance For You- Dirty Projectors
6. Reflections -Mister Wives
7. Can’t Not- Alanis Morissette
