Day 30: a picture of yourself this day and 5 good things that happened since you started the challenge

I delayed writing this post a bit because I wanted to include a picture of me after running my 3rd half marathon!  I know I am hard on most pictures of myself, but I did want to note that the bib is sticking out under my shirt!  Looks funny to me!  Also my mop of hair was sooooo tangled!  Haha!  It was a mess!  None the less the run went well.  I thought that I had beat my goal time of 2 hours but my official time was 2:01.  Can you believe that?  One single minute!  The good news for my physical fitness is that I WILL beat 2 hours so looks like I will be running another one soon!  My times have improved by 2 minutes each race (2:05, 2:03 and now 2:01) so I anticipate running the next one is 1:59!

5 Good Things:

1. Good deeds…I also challenged myself to do a good deed a day along with this challenge.  I was not the best at keeping up with them on the blog but I am going to go back and list the ones that I can remember!  This made me more aware that I naturally have been doing good more good deeds than I was conscious of.  Also it made me feel that I could be doing more!  I will try and continue doing these things and also seek out more each day!

2. Personal awareness…Through this challenge I became more aware of my past, present and where I would like to be in the future.  It made me think about who I am, what I have been through.  I enjoyed the challenges each day and thinking outside the box on how I was going to answer them!

3.  Writing…I really like writing!  It is something that I have thought about in the past, but writing this blog has shown me that it is something I really enjoy!  I looked forward to writing this everyday and it has gotten me into a good routine.  I will continue to write!

4.  Focus…having a task everyday really helped me focus.  I started each day (well most:)  thinking..I wonder what the question will be today! Starting the day writing was a good task to get my mind focused on what other tasks I needed to get completed that day!  It was a good exercise for me!

5. Life is good…my life is really good!  I am in a really good place in life and I think writing about challenges and certain subjects help me realize that I am in a happy place!  I know there are challenges that will always come up but I think my outlook right now is one that is really positive.  I feel like I can take on anything right now!
